It is a beautiful trail along the coastline with breathtaking views of the rugged rock and the crashing waves. At the end of the path, you arrive at this cute little lighthouse. So we stopped for a break and Devan reminded me that at the beginning of our relationship, during a visit back home to Newfoundland, he took me to the Cape Spear lighthouse outside St. Johns’s where he expressed his feelings for me. He went on to say that now, here we are 9 years later at another lighthouse, on the opposite coast and when I turned around, he was on one knee smiling. He said some really beautiful words that finished with, so will you marry me? I yelled yes. Then he slid the GORGEOUS ring on my finger.”

Bogart’s Jewellers is a locally owned and operated jewellery store in Newfoundland. Bogart’s has 7 locations across Newfoundland to serve you for since 1992. We care about our customers and being a part of the special moments in your life.

Our owner, Richard Rooney, started in the jewellery business at the young age of 22. Richard began his career as a watch salesman. His passion for jewellery and customer service resulted in Bogart’s Jewellers nomination for Newfoundland’s Consumer Choice Award for jewellery store 7 years in a row. His son, Aj is also in the business and is a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and a accredited Jewellery Professional.
