Where are you located?

Bogart's Jewellers is proudly owned and operated in Newfoundland. Our head office is located in St. John's Newfoundland and we have 7 locations across the island.

  • Do you have gemologists on staff?

    Yes. We currently have G.I.A. Graduate Gemologists on staff. If you have any questions, you can speak with a graduate gemologist at any time.

    Do you have jewellers on staff?

    Yes. We have several jewellers on staff to assist with jewellery repairs, ring resizing, inspections and more. Our jewellers are located at our 40 Aberdeen Ave and Avalon Mall locations in St. John's NL. If you're located outside of St. John's, simply visit your nearest Bogart's Jewellers location and we will have your jewellery sent to St. John's for servicing.


    If you're unable to visit a physical location, please contact us for further assistance.

    Do you do engravings?

    Yes. We offer engraving services starting at $30+. Pricing can vary. Feel free to drop by one of our in-store locations with your jewellery to get an accurate quote.

    Do you offer custom jewellery services?

    Yes, we offer custom jewellery services right here in Newfoundland.


    We have experienced CAD jewellery designers on staff to help bring your dreams to reality. Contact us to speak directly with our designer. We are happy to provide a free quote and answer any questions you may have.

    Services & Repairs

    Do you offer jewellery repair services?

    We do offer Jewellery repair services! Our shop is equipped with the latest technology so every repair will be expertly done to our meticulous standards. 


    Bring your jewellery to one of our in-store locations. We evaluate your jewellery and give you an estimate for any repairs that may need to be done.


    Some of our repair services include:

    - Ring sizing

    - Jewellery cleaning and polishing

    - Ring shank replacement 

    - Stone tightening 

    - Stone replacement 

    - Prong tightening and re-tipping

  • How much does it cost to get my ring resized?

    The price of our ring resizing service can vary depending on the material of the ring, what size you need, and more. We recommend bringing your ring to one of our in-store locations to get an accurate estimate.

    How long will it take to get my ring resized?

    Our ring resizing service is usually pretty quick and you should have your ring back within a week or two. However, please keep in mind that some times of the year are busier than others for our jewellers. We will try our best to size your ring as quickly as possible.   

    Do you buy old jewellery?

    Yes! At Bogart's Jewellers, we will buy your old gold, silver and platinum jewellery. We will evaluate your jewellery and tell you the value of what you have. If you decide to sell, we will write you a check or you can use it towards an in-store purchase.


    If you choose to use it in-store, we will give you an additional 30% on top of the value of your scrap gold. We pay the absolute highest prices and have an unmatched reputation for honesty and integrity.

    Where are your jewellers located?

    From repairs, resizings, inspections and more, we do it all right here in Newfoundland and Labrador. We have jewellers on staff at our Avalon Mall and Aberdeen Ave locations. If you are located outside of St. John's, we will ship your jewellery to one of these two locations to be serviced.

    Our Diamonds & Jewellery

    What are the "Four C's?"

    The Four C's stand for Carat (size), Colour, Clarity and Cut. These are the industry-grade standards from the Gemological Insititute of America (GIA). All diamonds are specifically graded on these features.

  • What is "Cut"?

    A diamond's cut determines its brilliance or sparkle. Each shape will be cut differently. Before a diamond is cut, the location of inclusions and flaws, the natural colouration, and the original shape of the rough stone are studied extensively. The stone facets are then mapped out and cut in a way that maximizes size, shape, and clarity. For optimal light performance, you will want a diamond that is cut neither too shallow nor too deep.

    What are Lab-Grown Diamonds?

    Lab-grown diamonds are just like natural/mined diamonds, except for the fact that they are grown and processed in a laboratory as opposed to being mined from the Earth's crust. There is essentially no difference between lab-grown and mined diamonds; they are visually, physically, and chemically the same. 


    Both types of diamonds give the same sparkle, have the same types of clarity and colour, and both come in the same shapes and sizes.


    In terms of durability, lab diamonds offer the same strength, durability, and hardness as natural diamonds.

    Are Lab-Grown Diamonds real?

    Yes! Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds. 


    They’re just like natural/mined diamonds, except for the fact that they are grown and processed in a laboratory as opposed to being mined from the Earth's crust. They are visually, physically, and chemically the same as mined diamonds. 

    Shipping and In-Store Pickup

    Where is my order?

    Online Orders:

    If you placed an order online you will be notified via email or text with your tracking number once it has shipped. If you didn't receive a confirmation email or tracking number, please contact us for further assistance.


    In-Store Pickup:

    We will call or text you when your order is ready for pickup. If you're still waiting on a notification that your order is ready, it's likely that we're pulling your item(s) from another Bogart's Jewellers location. We will do our best to ensure your pickup order is ready as soon as possible. If you have any specific questions about your order please contact us.

  • How do I track my order?

     When your order is shipped you will be notified via email or text with your tracking number. Track your order by clicking the link in the email. If you did not receive any tracking information but your item is shipped please contact us and we will get your tracking.

  • How much does shipping cost?

    Shipping rates are calculated at checkout depending on your address. The average shipping cost if you are located in Newfoundland and Labrador is $15.


    We also offer free shipping in Atlantic Canada on orders over $99, free shipping in Ontario & Quebec on orders over $149 & free shipping in all other provinces on orders over $199.

    When will my pickup order be ready?

    We will always call or text you when your order is ready. The time frame depends on stock availability. If there are items in your order that need to be shipped from another Bogart's Jewellers location your order may take up to 2-5 business days. If the item is in stock at your selected pick-up location, your order will be processed right away. 


    If the item you purchased has to be special ordered or will take longer than usual you will be notified.

    When will my online order be shipped?

    Typically your order will be shipped in 1-4 business days. The time frame depends on stock availability and the item(s) you purchased. We pull merchandise from all of our stores for online orders. 


    If the item you purchased has to be special ordered or will take longer than usual you will be notified.

    Does Bogart's Jewellers offer 0% financing?

    You can apply for 0% financing in store at one of our 7 locations. You can also apply online here

    Returns

    What is your return policy?

    We will gladly refund merchandise within 14 days of original purchase. Items may be exchanged within 30 days of original purchase. Some exclusions may apply, please view our full return policy here.

    How do I start my return?

    You can begin a return by visiting one of our in-store locations. Please ensure you bring your original receipt and packaging along with the item(s) you are returning. Our associate will determine if your item(s) are eligible for return and will process your return. Feel free to view our full return policy here.

  • Can I return resized or altered jewellery?

    Custom jewellery or items that have been altered in any way cannot be returned.

    How do I return my online order?

    You can return online orders by visiting one of our in-store locations. If you aren't located near a Bogart's Jewellers location or if you're unable to visit a physical location, our customer service team can help process your return online.
