How Long Will My Order Take?

Most in-stock orders are processed and shipped within 1–5 business days. There are some exceptions (see below):

Custom jewellery, special orders, and items requiring sizing or engraving may take 4–6 weeks before shipping.

You’ll receive an email confirmation and tracking number once your order has shipped.

Orders within Canada usually arrive within 7–14 business days on average, depending on your location.
International orders may take longer based on carrier and destination.

Carriers

We primarily ship with Canada Post and Purolator, and may use other trusted carriers when needed to ensure timely delivery.

You can also choose free in-store pickup at checkout.

For custom, special order, or resized jewellery, pickup times may vary as these items require additional processing and craftsmanship before they’re sent to your selected store.

1-Year Manufacturer's Warranty

All jewellery purchased at Bogart’s Jewellers includes a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty that covers defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage, or loss.

Lifetime Diamond Warranty (Select Engagement Rings Only):
Select diamond rings come with our complimentary Lifetime Diamond Warranty, providing lasting protection and confidence in your purchase.

If your diamond ever becomes lost from its original mounting, Bogart’s Jewellers will replace it at no charge once your validated warranty and inspection record are presented. Mountings are guaranteed to be free of manufacturing defects (normal wear excluded).

To maintain warranty coverage, your diamond ring must be cleaned and inspected every six months at any Bogart’s location.

This warranty does not cover loss or damage resulting from unreasonable use (including chipped diamonds, cracked or broken-off prongs) or from repairs, sizing, or any other work done by someone other than Bogart’s Jewellers.

Our Lifetime Trade-Up Policy allows you to trade in your diamond ring at any time for full credit of the original purchase price toward a new diamond ring at least double the value of your initial purchase. A validated guarantee and original receipt are required.

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser or spouse and applies to diamond rings with a purchase price of $999 or more.

Extended Service Plans
Extended Service Plans are available for purchase and include coverage for common maintenance and repair needs:

- Retipping and rebuilding prongs
- Ring resizing (up or down two sizes, up to two times)
- Refinishing and polishing
- Cleaning and inspection (every six months)
- Earring post and back repair
- Broken chain or bracelet soldering
- Replacement of spring rings
- Rhodium plating (up to three times)
- Stone tightening
- Replacement of lost or chipped gemstones/diamonds (coverage applies up to a repair cost of $200)

Jewellery Care Tips

• Keep jewellery away from water, moisture, and harsh chemicals such as cleaning products, perfumes, and lotions.
  
• Remove jewellery before swimming, exercising, or sleeping to prevent damage and wear.
  
• Store pieces in an airtight bag or soft pouch when not in use to reduce tarnishing and scratches.
  
• Use Bogart’s approved care solution or a mild jewellery cleaner for routine cleaning.

Gold, Silver, and Plated Jewellery

• Over time, plating and finishes naturally wear with regular use. This is normal jewellery maintenance and not considered a defect.
  
• Sterling silver should be stored in a cool, dry place and can be gently polished from time to time to keep its natural shine.

Diamond and Gemstone Jewellery

• Avoid hard impacts or rough surfaces that can loosen or chip stones.
  
• Have your jewellery professionally cleaned and inspected every six months to ensure settings remain secure.
  
• For added protection, Extended Service Plans are available, covering some repairs, resizing, polishing, rhodium plating, and gemstone replacement (up to $200 coverage).

Pearls and Delicate Gemstones

• Pearls, opals, and other soft stones are more porous and require gentle care.
  
• Avoid exposure to perfumes, hairspray, or direct sunlight.
  
• Store these pieces separately from harder gemstones to prevent scratching.
